Quantum Stabilizers-torque wrench to adjust tapered pins Torque Wrench ATOL000003-AA00

Quantum's tapered cylinder pins empower the engineer to reduce bearing noise by adjusting bearing compression. Performing this adjustment requires close attention to the applied torque. This wrench covers the full span of torques specified in the Quantum tapered pin adjustment procedure (which can be found on our Service Instructions page), and provides visual indication of the applied torque via the dial gauge. The torque wrench is supplied with a calibration certificate; re-calibration is recommended once a year. For more information or assistance please contact Quantum's Spares Coordinator, Diego Cardona at dcardona@quantumhydraulic.com.

Fin Oscillation simulator- FOS Fin Oscillation Simulator (FOS) ATOL000002-AA01

Quantum's new Fin Oscillation Simulator (FOS), our handheld stabilizer fin movement controller, facilitates maintenance procedures including hull unit greasing and tapered pin adjustment. Easily connected to a Quantum stabilizer Fin Control Module (FCM) when needed after a simple and permanent modification to the FCM, the FOS provides four pre-set fin speeds and an intuitive interface. The FOS (ATOL000002-AA01) and the FCM modification package (ATOL000001-AA01) are available through Quantum's Spares Coordinator, Diego Cardona at dcardona@quantumhydraulic.com.

Quantum Accumulator and Suppressor Charging Kit
ACCUMULATOR AND SUPPRESSOR CHARGING KIT ASUP000001-3A

Hydraulic accumulators and noise suppressors, components in every Quantum stabilizer system hydraulic power system, need their charge pressure maintained according to the procedures and specifications contained in each individual system manual. Quantum stabilizer systems, both new-build and retrofit, include a charging kit in the original supply. The complete and updated charging kit is now available with everything pictured above: case, charging tool, charge checking tool, charging adapters, and Leak-Tec. Each tool or adapter is also available separately, and we also provide a video tutorial to complement the instructions in the system manual on our Service Instructions page.

For more information or assistance with spares, tools, or supplies for your Quantum system please contact Spares Coordinator Diego Cardona at dcardona@quantumhydraulic.com, for more information.

Quantum Charge Checking ToolCHARGE CHECKING TOOL QMSUP23011

Our new charge checking tool (pictured) reduces the pressure drop encountered when using the long hose in the charging tool to check nitrogen pressure. If you find that checking the suppressor charge with your Quantum-supplied charging kit usually results in having to charge the suppressor, the charge checking tool can alleviate the issue.

Please contact our Spares Coordinator, Diego Cardona at dcardona@quantumhydraulic.com, for more information.

Quantum Charge Checking Tool HYDRAULIC ACCUMULATOR AND NOISE SUPPRESSOR CHARGING TOOL QMSUP23018

Quantum suggests checking the accumulator and suppressor charges with the charge checking tool- the long hose in the charging tool can drop the charge pressure due to the volume of the hose. The charging tool (pictured above) is used to restore or adjust charge pressure if and as needed, either as part of a repair procedure or regular maintenance. The charging tool is supplied with the American-style (CGA-580) gas bottle adapter pre-installed. Adapters for European style gas cylinders are available individually, and as part of the complete charging kit.

Please contact our Spares Coordinator, Diego Cardona at dcardona@quantumhydraulic.com, for more information.

Quantum Charging AdaptersCHARGING ADAPTERS

The Quantum charging tool comes with the American-style (CGA-580) gas bottle adapter pre-installed. For connection to European style gas bottles, Quantum now offers the English-style (BS-341) gas bottle adapter (pictured left top, Quantum number QMSUP23017) and the German-style (DIN-477) gas bottle adapter (pictured left bottom, Quantum number QMSUP23016).

Quantum Leak-Tec LEAK-TEC QMLIQ00013

As any gas leakage can have a significant effect on suppressor performance Quantum now offers Leak-Tec (pictured) to provide a visual indication of system integrity and to insure that charging valves close completely. Simply apply Leak-Tec and look for bubbles.

Quantum Leak-Tec Hydraulic Power Unit Suction Strainer Wrench

Maintenance on Quantum Hydraulic Power Units for our stabilizer systems can require cleaning or replacing the strainers on the suction side of the hydraulic system. Quantum designed Maintenance on Quantum Hydraulic Power Units for our stabilizer systems can require cleaning or replacing the strainers on the suction side of the hydraulic system. Quantum designed low-profile wrenches enable removing and installing cleaned or replacement suction strainers without damaging the strainer mesh. The wrench size is specific to the size strainer: QMSTR40010 (.5" strainers), QMSTR40009 (.75" strainers), and QMSTR40002 (1.0" strainers). For assistance in determining the size strainers used in your installation or for ordering, please contact Quantum's Spares Coordinator, Diego Cardona at dcardona@quantumhydraulic.com.

Quantum Service GREASE GUN AGR0001000

One of the most important Quantum stabilizer system maintenance procedures is regular greasing. While all Quantum systems require grease, the access points and procedure might differ depending on the system, so please consult your manual for the proper grease type, grease points, pressures and procedures. We suggest and make available the pictured grease gun assembly to insure that the specified essential pressure is reached and maintained. This tool is available through Quantum's Spares Coordinator, Diego Cardona, who can be reached at dcardona@quantumhydraulic.com.
