    Another Quantum Solution- the Diesel Emergency Auxiliary Power (DEAP) series of standby power sources for MCA/SOLAS rescue and lifeboat davits. These reliable and robust diesel engines close couple to a RexRoth variable displacement pump to provide emergency hydraulic power on a moment's notice. Quantum has worked with surveying authorities to insure rapid and seamless approval- as the linked letter shows, the Quantum DEAP-12 is an approved emergency source of hydraulic power.

    Operation is simple and straightforward: turn the key, the electric-start diesel runs, the pilot valve shuts off the main hydraulic circuit, and the crane is ready to operate on the DEAP-12. As soon as the engine starts, you have hydraulic power at the crane- it's that simple.

No levers, valves, gauges- swift, secure, solid, in the best Quantum tradition.
